The five clothing racks made for the revolve store at the palms casino in Las Vegas were designed by Brant Ritter. They were made from hot rolled tee profiles bent into shape, welded, polished and brass plated.
This project was designed to be assembled on site and potentially be moved in the future. So rather than approach this in a conventional way we decided to make it bolt together and be clad with both walnut interior and Extira exterior wood paneling. This 42 square foot Guard station had the same finishes as used in the house, complete with monitors, fridge, coffee maker and a locker. more finished pictures soon.
A frame and substrate was needed for a mosaic by Summer Wheat. The piece was mounted above a fountain at an A. Quincy Jones house in Beverly Hills. We started with a small mock up and came up with a design from there. The main challenge was to make a large frame that could be removed if the artwork needed to be transported. The fasteners remained hidden behind the stand off detail.
I made some simple work tables for an office. For some reason I did a better job photographing the process. The legs were a steel tube frame and the table edge was made of aluminum. 3/4” plywood sits flush inside
